We have sterilised over 43,000 cats, we need money and your time to sterilise more cats. Only by preventing the free rage breeding ( that is the unplaned breeding of cats because they were not sterilised by 5 months) can we really help cats.
They are abandoned behind shopping centres and factories because they have become a problem to their owners - neighbours might be kidnapping them and then dumping them, the cats can’t talk so it is hard to know where they came from. The cats did not run away to live on the streets.
Affiliation to the Society is by way of donation, it cost us $4.00 per copy to produce the newsletter (3 annually) and between $35.00 and $75.00 to subsidise the sterilisation of each cat. Our rescued cats cost us $170 for sterilisation, ID chip and vaccination. Advertising and food a further $50.00 per week. We rescued 600 cats last season. All this is achieved because we do not pay wages, we volunteer our time and money. It is getting harder each year as the big organisations are employing marketing managers to obtain corporate donations. It costs nearly 2 million dollars to home 3,000 cats and destroy 6,000 at the refuges. What a waste of lives and money, our budget is $60,000 annually - we need donations of time and money.

Bequests
A bequest is essentially a gift or donation to a charity and forms part of a persons deceased estate. It may be in the form of a sum of money, personal property such as jewellery or real estate.
Your bequest to the Cat Sterilisation Society (Inc) would assist us to sterilise the cats of those owners who, due to financial hardship, are not in a position to do so. By ensuring that these cats are sterilised we are eliminating the potential for unwanted litters and the neglect, abuse and destruction that is often a consequence of such litters.
Do not let your love of cats and their continued welfare pass with you. You may wish to discuss this with your solicitor and we provide the following form for your consideration.
